There have been a few circumstances and events this past week which have really made me stop and think. Think about life, think about the future and think about right now. Life is funny that way. Through our journey on earth we experience so many emotions and feelings. We experience happy times, sad times and trying times. We manage to keep learning more about ourselves through the experiences and years that go by. Through everything we face, there is a constant, and that is we keep going. Life doesn’t stop in those moments, whether good or bad, You need to keep going…

I know it’s sometimes easier said than done. Especially during the hard and trying times. It’s in those times though, that we get to learn more about ourselves than ever before. We realise that we are stronger than we think and that, mind-willing you will be okay and life will go on. I’m currently on a day-to-day mentality. Literally taking things day by day. Still “stuck in a rut” with this spine of mine. Some days are better than others, and some are worse. It’s okay! The fact is you are still going, putting one foot (day) in front of the other and pushing forward. Nobody said life would be easy and filled with rainbows and butterflies. Life can be tough, it can challenge you physically, emotionally and mentally.

You will get through the trying times. There will be better days ahead and one day it will all make sense. Take time to experience life and its different emotions. Face the challenges that come your way and always keep fighting! Don’t accept what you know is not right, reach out to your friends and loved ones, push for the answers and make sure that the life you living is one where you are giving your all. Appreciate this wonderful life we have been given through the good and the bad as well as cherish your relationships with others. Life changes in the blink of an eye. In those moments, be ready, stand tall and take on whatever comes your way.

I’ll leave this here:
